Looking for BBQ in KC

I landed at the Kansas City Airport and went straightaway to find some BBQ.

KC is known for this delight, and after seeing Anthony Bourdain showing off is eating and drinking skills on his TV show, I was ready for my own adventures!

1st up is Jack Stacks BBQ, known best for their brisket and dry rub, it was

something I had to try. Glad I did! So good I ate until I hurt myself!

An ominous looking plant with very sharp thorns. Wikipedia says that “Datura stramonium, known by the common names Jimson weed, Devil’s snare, ordatura, is a plant in the Solanaceae (nightshade) family. It is believed to have originated in the Americas, but is now found around the world.[1] .

It is also a powerful hallucinogen and deliriant, which is used spiritually for the intense visions it produces and is lethal. You feel good and then you die. However, the tropane alkaloids responsible for both the medicinal and hallucinogenic properties are fatally toxic in only slightly higher amounts than the medicinal dosage, and careless use often results in hospitalizations and deaths.”

So be careful where you walk!
